At this workshop you will have the chance to debate how we all can support expanding markets in Europe and globally for industries and enable the industrial partners to be early adaptors of trends in integrated energy markets, thus having cutting edge R&D for key technologies in future sustainable energy systems for value creation.
We need a more integrated and intelligent energy system to meet future energy needs, in ways that are safe, secure, sustainable and affordable. This is only achievable if we consider all parts of the system and how they interact, all types of participant and all possible technologies; by necessity, this requires a cross-disciplinary approach.
The workshop will bring together stakeholders from the public, the private and the research sector around common goals for sustainable smart energy system concepts and identify synergies in low‐cost storages across sectors on one side and international electricity and gas transmission on the other side. The event will also engage university students, who are the decision makers, researchers and change agents of the future.
