The conference focuses on the Mission Innovation Challenges and what we can do to accelerate the energy technology innovation. At the event the DTU International Energy Report 2018 will be launched, providing perspectives on each of the challenges as well as storage – new knowledge needed to address the challenge, knowledge gaps and opportunities not sufficiently addressed by current efforts. Special focus will be on opportunities for international research cooperation within and across the MI Challenges, not least taking into account lessons learned from the European Energy Research Alliance on aligning national efforts and cooperation with the private sector in the SET Plan.
