KLIMA100 Sharing Local Climate Solutions

KLIMA100 Sharing Local Climate Solutions

What are Denmark’s best local climate solutions?

On May 24, we are gathering Danish and international local governments for a summit to build new relationships and sharing innovative, local solutions that take us a step closer to a sustainable future.

The centerpiece of the summit will be Realdania and Sustainia’s new Klima100 publication, which presents 100 of the leading climate solutions from municipalities across Denmark. This is the first comprehensive national survey of Danish climate solutions, and we are incredibly excited to launch and present it on this special occasion.

Our summit connects Danish municipalities with representatives of cities and governments from around the world that share similar sustainability challenges. The aim is to exchange vital expertise on local climate action, facilitate knowledge sharing, and forge partnerships and cooperation that will stand tall in the face of future climate challenges.

The summit consists of:

  • Short keynotes from Executive Director of C40 Cities, Mark Watts, and representatives of Realdania and Sustainia
  • Workshops on topics such as energy, transport, adaptation, buildings, and waste
  • Workshops on topics across sectors and public climate management, including: citizen engagement, the Global Goals, sustainable finance, the circular economy, and public-private partnerships

Space is almost full for this exclusive event, but we may have a few seats available. Go to www.sustainiaworld.com/klima100/ to learn more and sign up.
